Park AK-37 Advanced Mechanic Tool Kit Review

Park’s AK-37 toolkit is a rather large tool kit filled with some of Park’s most popular tools. A Park toolbox is included, too. (Tools are listed below.)

Pros: If you want to start doing most basic repairs on your own, this kit is for you. It has everything you need to get started, and everything is Park Tool quality.

Cons: If you have been gradually building up your bicycle tool collection, you probably own half of these tools already. If so, it would be a total waste of money to buy this tool kit.

There are also a few certain tools you may wish to purchase from other brands (Shimano cable cutters, Pedro’s tire levers, etc.)

The Final Word

If you are new to bike repair and you really plan to start doing your own repairs, it would save you some hassle if you just get this kit (it’s $299.95 at JensonUSA.)

If you have been doing your own repairs for a while though, you probably already own some of these tools, so just keep buying individual tools as you need them.

*Update* Park now offers the AK-37 toolkit as a replacement of the AK-32. It is basically the same kit for the same price, just with a new name.
